Inspirational Photography Quotes are some of our favorite ways to reflect on the wisdom of others. American photojournalist and photographer, Dorothea Lange once said, “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still”. Nothing can be truer than this in these tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the time this was written, we were quarantined inside our homes (by will or by government order) to avoid the monster of a virus outside, but who knows how big or small that monster is? Stories give us great insight. We are all consuming stories, from across the world, to know the seriousness and impact of this disease but do we believe these stories without photographic proof?

“I don’t trust words. I trust pictures,” Gilles Peress once said. We believe what we see, hence why photographers are still working day in and out, documenting the state of affairs. 

The aim of these photographs is to give us enough thorough information about current events, while also serving as a reminder of the times for coming generations. But for those of us that are living through it, some of these images will forever be etched in our hearts.

Here, we are bringing you this special story of Sara France, an international award-winning photographer who started 20 years back and stands not one, not two, but three brands tall today with her amazing all-female team. Sara is a part of a small select group of pro wedding photographers, from all over the world, selected to be among the Sony Artisans of Imagery. She is currently a mentor in Sony’s revolutionary Sony Alpha Female Program. Out of Sara’s many achievements, she was also an exclusive photographer for Apple, sent all over the country shooting many of their iconic images. Additionally, Sara has been an inspiration to photographers as an instructor at the annual Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Trade Show (WPPI).

With a successful career spanning almost two decades, it’s no wonder KT Merry’s attention to detail and time management was evident immediately, starting with her website and scheduling tools. Clicking a link in my email launched a beautifully designed and incredibly user-friendly meeting calendar. Within seconds, I had scheduled our phone interview and received a confirmation email. This woman had no time to waste, I thought. I continued my research, excited about learning more about the KT Merry’s brand, and the woman behind it.
